RR Psalm 33:6,7 Part 4
Rabbi’s Reflections - Thursday July 24, 2025
Shalom,
Psalm 33:6 By Adonai’s word were the heavens made, and all their host by the breath of His mouth. 7 He gathers the waters of the sea together in a heap. He lays up deep waters in storehouses.
Today we have two more verses that declare the magnificence of God. Our verses confirm that God spoke the world (and everything in it) into existence. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Twelve times in Genesis the first chapter (the first creation story in Scripture) God either “said, spoke or blessed” (with the words of His mouth) the world into existence.
Think about this… this is the same God also spoke you into existence. Yes, the One true and living God, Who managed (even to this day, He still manages) every detail of creation, including every atom, molecule, even every beautiful and symmetrical detail, both micro and macro, created the entire universe so He would have a place to love you. Beyond what we will ever know about biological science, He created (one of a kind) you. You are a miracle of God, and God, Himself, has blessed you.
Psalm 119:1 Blessed (Ashre) are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the Torah of Adonai. 2 Happy (Ashre) are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with a whole heart.
Pursue God, the lover of your soul, and let nothing stand in your way.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek Adonai while He may be found, call on Him while He is near. Psalm 145:18 Adonai is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.
Don’t wait! This is for you… 2Corinthians 6:1 Since we are co-laboring, we also urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 2 For He says, “At a favorable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you.” Behold, now is the favorable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. Today is the day, and now is the perfect hour. Shalom shalom.
