Shalom,
Have you got five minutes?

Give a listen to Charlie Kirk speak on his visit to Israel and his support of Israel. The organization he is speaking on behalf of, is “Im Tirtzu” https://imti.org.il/en/ which is Hebrew for “If you will it….” This is the first words of a famous saying by Theodore Herzl (widely recognized as the father of modern Zionism). The full saying is “Im tirtzu ain zo agada" which is usually translated, ”If you will it, it is no dream."

Psalm 35:24,25 – Part 14
Psalm 35:24 Vindicate me, Adonai my God, according to Your justice, and do not let them gloat over me. 25 Don’t let them say in their heart: “Aha! Just what we wanted!” Don’t let them say: “We swallowed him up!”
The English may say, “Vindicate me,” but the Hebrew is “Shaf’tay’ni,” meaning “pass judgment upon me.” (From “Shafat” which means “to pronounce sentence”) This can work for you, if you’re found innocent; or it can work against you, if you’re guilty. The problem is we’re all guilty.
Ecclesiastes 7:20 Surely there is not a righteous person on earth who does what is good and doesn’t sin.
When Paul wrote Romans 3:23, do you suppose he knew this verse from Ecclesiastes? Therefore; we all need the Savior. 1John 2:1 My children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an Intercessor with the Father—the righteous Messiah Yeshua. 2 He is the atonement for our sins, and not only for our sins but also for the whole world.
There is a weakness in the hyper-grace movement, which also masquerades as “seeker friendly.” (An error called “antinomianism” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antinomianism.) Their false belief is that grace excuses sin. If that is a false belief, then why is it preached in so many Bible believing churches? Grace doesn’t excuse sin, it empowers us to have victory over sin. The error is exacerbated if we don’t realize that there is more to it. Yeshua told the woman caught in adultery, “… go and sin no more.” We all have Yeshua as our advocate with the Father, if we live in obedience to Him.
Is this verse in your Bible? 1John 2:3 Now we know that we have come to know Him by this—if we keep His commandments. The Scripture goes on to say, 1John 2:4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
We all need grace, so that we are enabled to obey God, for grace is includes the God-given desire to obey Him. Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us draw near to the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help in time of need. Shalom shalom.
