RR Psalm 42:4(3) Part 4

Shalom,

Psalm 41:4 My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all day: “Where is your God?”

In the Hebrew, my tears have been my “bread” (Lechem - here translated as food) daily (adverb form) and at night.  Something is going on here 24/7 and it is sorrow.  (Whoever “they” is, they distinguish themselves as being apart from “your God.”) They’re asking every day, “Where is your God?”

However; although there are those who do not see God, Psalm 56 tells us He is still with us, not only to collect our tears, but to make a record of each one.  Psalm 56:9 You have recorded my wanderings. You put my tears in Your bottle. Are they not in Your book?

We are walking with our God (not their god) in victory.  Our tears are not wasted.  Psalm 34:19 Adonai is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those crushed in spirit.  Isaiah saw the victorious outcome.  Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death forever. my Lord Adonai will wipe away tears from every face. He will remove His people’s reproach from all the earth. For Adonai has spoken.

Then the book of Revelation confirms what Isaiah saw.  Revelation 21:4  He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more. Nor shall there be mourning or crying or pain any longer, for the former things have passed away.”

It is true, those who deny God, can’t see Him. However; He is still with us always, with the promise to comfort us through our distress.  2Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the Father of compassion and God of all encouragement. 4 He encourages us in every trouble, so that we may be able to encourage those who are in any trouble, through the very encouragement with which we ourselves are encouraged by God. 5 For just as the sufferings of Messiah overflow into us, so also through Messiah our encouragement overflows.

God wants to encourage and comfort you.  Receive His blessings and walk in victory.  Shalom shalom.
