Rabbi’s Reflections -Wednesday, September 8, 2021 (2nd Day RH)

Shalom,

Today (depending on when you’re reading this, it could be different) is Rosh Hashanah.  I’m writing it on Tuesday morning for Wednesday.  Tuesday is the first day of RH and Wednesday is the second day.  The Bible commands a one day celebration, but much of the Jewish community has added a second day celebration for almost every one day holiday (Yom Kippur is an exception, but there are others).  We follow the biblical mandate and celebrate one day only.

All that to say I’m not really writing today.  But I do have much to tell you.  First, the first edition of the Tikkun America online (only) monthly magazine, “RESTORE!” Is now available.  You can sign up here to have it delivered to your inbox: https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/UTLgsQK/magazine?source_id=dcdd0725-9483-4656-a406-5178e5d07eef&source_type=em&c=XZ7aHcw414FMdvsBF0cTnyW69sw3UJR7pS0jwAatIvJ87WAYZsuSxg==  If you know your name and email address, you’re good to go.  New year, new magazine.

If you want to read the first edition before subscribing, click here.  https://viewer.joomag.com/tikkun-america-restore-issue-1-tishrei-september-2021/0843763001630866792?short&.  You will notice our own Amy Strom is the creative director.  Way to go Amy!

Also, I’m attaching a link to a video by Lou Engle.  You may know that Lou is one of very few effective prophetic voices in America today.  Click on it to see why I’m so excited about the most recent message he received from the Lord.  https://www.dropbox.com/s/jbzsis1u7tqwc18/Jeff%20Video.MP4?dl=0  I’m very likely write more on this in the coming days.
