Rabbi’s Reflections – Friday, June 11, 2021
(Early) Shabbat Shalom *|FNAME|*,
Rabbi Trail: Today is moving day, so the RR is understandably brief. No-one over 70 should be allowed to move. I’m just under the wire on that one. However; please remember, the RR comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so for those of you who desire, just use your imagination to request a refund from our imaginary customer care department. They will be delighted to accommodate you. End RT.
I received this from Lars Enarson to add to our discussion from yesterday. He is sharing his own thoughts, but revealing the mind of the Lord in the process.
Shalom Rabbi Michael,
I might add that the principle to end, if possible, every Aliyah on a positive note, is in line with the message of the Bible as a whole, especially regarding Israel. We read yesterday in Luke that Yeshua will be a light to the Gentiles, but in the end for glory to Israel. Luke 2:32 ‘A light for revelation to the nations’ and the glory of Your people Israel.”
Yeshua is first destined to be for the fall and then for the rising of many in Israel. Luke 2:34 And Simeon offered a bracha over them and said to Miriam His mother, “Behold, this One is destined to cause the fall and rise of many in Israel, and to be a sign that is opposed….
Romans 11:12 Now if their transgression leads to riches for the world, and their loss riches for the Gentiles, then how much more their fullness!… 15 For if their rejection leads to the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
We have seen the fall of Israel which brought salvation to the nations. We will also see the rising of Israel, which has already started and which will be for glory to Israel and life from the dead for the world. A worldwide revival is coming. Hallelujah! What a glorious hope we have!!
Blessings, Lars
