Shalom,
Day 23 of counting the Omer
בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ מֶֽלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָֽׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֹתָיו, וְצִוָּֽנוּ עַל סְפִירַת הָעֹֽמֶר
Baruch Atah Adonai Elohenu Melech Ha-Olam, Asher Kid’shanu B’mitzvotav, Vitzivanu Al Sefirat Ha-Omer.
Blessed are You O Lord our God, King of the universe, who has sanctified us by his commandments and commanded us about the counting of the Omer. Today is three weeks and two days of the counting of the Omer.
Follow up that prayer by remembering a blessing from the Lord and give Him thanks.

Isaiah 62 Fasting and Prayer
(Leading Up To)
Shavuot (Pentecost) 5783 (2023)
We will continue our series on the Book of Romans tomorrow with “Victory Over Sin part 15 – Romans, part 76.” But first, there is something I’ve been wanting to talk with you about. The time is right, so here it is…. God is awakening His body (the family of Yeshua’s followers) to their mandate to pray for the salvation of Israel like never before.
Psalm 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem— “May those who love you be at peace! 7 May there be shalom within your walls— quietness within your palaces.” 8 For the sake of my brothers and friends, I now say: “Shalom be within you.”
“Shalom” is mentioned three times in these three verses, while “prosperity” or “quietness” is mentioned twice. The only real shalom is found in the satisfaction of an eternal rest in relationship with Yeshua, when a person (Jewish or non-Jewish) receives Him as both Savior and Lord.
The story behind these verses of Scripture is nothing less than God’s plan for worldwide revival. God is going to save His people, Israel. Romans 11:26a …and in this way all Israel will be saved…. 29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Then, from Israel’s salvation, revival will spread to the whole world. Romans 11:15 For if their rejection leads to the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? “Life from the dead” is the perfect description of revival!

In the video, Mike is explaining what he has heard from God for what he is calling an Isaiah 62 fast.
Isaiah 62:6 On your walls, Jerusalem, I have set watchmen. (Shom’rim, the name of our congregation) All day and all night, they will never hold their peace. “You who remind Adonai, take no rest for yourselves, 7 And give Him no rest until He establishes and makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
The goal here is to raise up 100 million intercessors who will commit to fast and pray for the salvation of Israel for 21 days. Those 21 days will begin next Sunday, May 7th, culminating three weeks later, on Sunday, May 28th, the 50th day, Shavuot (Pentecost). On that Sunday Shomair will be joining with Grace and Glory Fellowship at 10:30, in our building at 3811 Boyds Bridge Pike. That special time in the presence of Adonai will be followed by a community picnic just a short distance away at Holston River Park.
Are you hearing the invitation of God to do your part in this global prayer initiative? Can it succeed without you? Probably, but not without a lot of people just like you. Isaiah answered the call of God… Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of Adonai saying: “Whom should I send, and who will go for Us?” So I said, “Hineni. Send me.”

INFORMATION ABOUT THE ISAIAH 62 GLOBAL SOLEMN ASSEMBLY
IHOOPKC’s leadership team is responding to the Lord in light of the 40-year anniversary of the 1983 solemn assembly by calling for a 21-day fast May 7-28, 2023. They will focus all of their prayer sets in the Global Prayer Room on Jesus’ purposes for Israel and the Jewish people.
