Psalms
Psalm 24:3,4 – Part 4
Psalm 24:3 Who may go up on the mountain of Adonai? `Who may stand in His holy place? 4 One with clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully.
Who can claim the prize and stand on the mountain of Adonai? None of us are able if we base our worthiness on our own strength of character. Psalm 14:1b … They are corrupt; their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good…. 3 They all turned aside, became corrupt. There is no one who does good—not even one. Isaiah came to the same conclusion in his vision and prophecy. Isaiah 59:14a Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands far off.…15b Now when Adonai saw it, it was displeasing in His eyes that there was no justice. 16a He saw that there was no one—He was astonished that no one was interceding.
So, the Lord sent His Own Son, Yeshua (Salvation), who is also called “The arm of the Lord” in Isaiah 53:1. Isaiah 59:16b Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him, and His righteousness upheld Him. 17a He put on righteousness as a breastplate and a helmet of salvation on His head. When we receive Yeshua as our Lord and Savior, His breastplate of righteousness and helmet of salvation become our own.
Rabbi Trail: To receive Him as our Lord, means we will obey (Shema) Him immediately and without question. John 14:15 “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” But wait, there’s more… 1John 2:4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. End RT.
The only way any of us can be made clean is to be washed in the blood of the Lamb of God. 1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of His Son Yeshua purifies us from all sin. The Apostle, John, wrote the Book of Revelation, a message from Yeshua, Rev 1:5 …from Messiah Yeshua, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood.
Receive the cleansing of Yeshua by His blood. There is no other way by which we will stand before God and remain. When we belong to Him, He writes our name in the book of life, with the ink of His blood which cannot be erased. Revelation 20:14 Then death and Sheol were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Zechariah’s prophesy makes it clear. Zechariah 4:6b “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Ruach!” says Adonai-Tzva’ot. Shalom shalom.
