(Early) Shabbat Shalom,

The Equip – Day 30:  https://gatesofzion.net/blog-articles/jb-bernstein/the-equip-series-40-consecutive-days-of-equipping-in-jewish-evangelism/the-equip-series-day-30-you-are-not-alone/48

Collaboration with Jerry Miller – part 8:

Just before His ascension (40 days after His resurrection), Yeshua’s disciples asked Him a question.  Acts 1:6 So when they gathered together, they asked Him, “Lord, are You restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?”  His answer was to let them know it’s not about timing, but about Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) power.  Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Ruach ha-Kodesh has come upon you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and through all Judah, and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Yeshua had already promised His disciples… John 16:7 But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away! For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

Yeshua was speaking to His disciples, and, if you will receive it, He is still speaking, only now, He’s speaking to you.  You may think, “If only I had lived when Yeshua lived.”  I have good news, “He’s alive!”  I have even better news, “He said that we, who live after He is gone, have an advantage.”

What’s left?  Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  You don’t know how?  Ask God. (Jacob 4:2b You do not have because you do not ask.)  Matthew 7:11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!  That “good gift” is the promise of a new life relationship with God (the fullness of Father, Son and Holy Spirit).

Hear the words of Yeshua… Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”  The “lost” are “lost” because relationship with God was lost through Adam’s rebellion (rebellion is sin).  Yeshua “saves” what was lost by restoring the relationship Adam had with God.  There are many places in Scripture where this is called a mystery.  Matthew 13:11 And He replied to them, “To you has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

And, what is the theme of this series?  Colossians 1:26 the mystery that was hidden for ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His kedoshim. 27 God chose to make known to them this glorious mystery regarding the Gentiles—which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory!

“Messiah in you!”  This means… Psalm 23:1b Adonai is my shepherd, I shall not want.  … applies now.  There is no shortage of good things in the kingdom of God.  Psalm 34:10 Fear Adonai, His kedoshim, For those who fear Him lack nothing. 11 Young lions may lack, and go hungry, but those who seek Adonai want for no good thing.  Satan’s goal is to cheat us out of that reality.  Yes, there is a blessing in the “great bye and bye,” and don’t miss this, there is also a blessing in the “here and now.”  So, why wait.  Agree with God, and call forth His blessing.

The work of God is described in Romans 4:17.  I’m going to add my notes in parenthesis. Romans 4:17 He is our father (Abraham) in the sight of God in whom he trusted, who gives life to the dead (Sarah gave birth at the age of 90) and calls into existence that which does not exist.  Therefore; Romans 8:11 And if the Ruach of the One who raised Yeshua from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised Messiah Yeshua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Ruach who dwells in you.  “Life to your mortal bodies” after you die, yes, but also “life to your mortal bodies” here and now too!  God is in you.  Therefore; walk in victory.  Receive it and share it!
