The Equip – Day 22: https://gatesofzion.net/blog-articles/jb-bernstein/the-equip-series-40-consecutive-days-of-equipping-in-jewish-evangelism/the-equip-series-day-22-why-jews/39

Shalom my friends.  This is wedding week for my family.  My granddaughter, Carson, is getting married in North Carolina on Saturday.  I’m letting you know that, because whenever I travel, it makes writing the RR a bigger challenge, and this is one of those times.  I trust you will be understanding.  It’s also surgery week, as I’m receiving my first cataract surgery on Monday (this is the Monday RR).  I usually don’t write ahead, but I am on this occasion.

In case you missed the opportunity to give to Fields of Wheat (the reason for the benefit concert with Eitan Shishkoff and Joshua Aaron last Saturday), here is why we did this.  Hear the words of Yeshua… John 12:24 Amen, amen I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone. But if it dies, it produces much fruit.  The vision of FOW is to build a national home for everything Messianic in the Galilee.

It is especially important to have a place to minister to youth gatherings, train leaders and to bring Arab and Jewish believers together to show the world there can be peace and harmony among brothers.  Matthew 9:37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. 38 Therefore pray to the Lord of the harvest that He may send out workers into His harvest field.”  This is central to the FOW vision.

The Lord spoke to me many years ago saying, “Do what you can with what you’ve got.”  In other words… (I like the New Living Translation on this.) Zechariah 4:10a Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord  rejoices to see the work begin. NLT  If you haven’t already sowed your seed into FOW, please place your offering here….  You can find it on our homepage under the FOW banner syknox.org or go directly to Church Center at https://shomairyisrael.churchcenter.com/giving/to/fields-of-wheat-2021 .

Thank you and God bless you.  Rabbi Michael.
