Shavuah Tov *|FNAME|*,

Today is Tisha B’Av.  Thank you Raymond Finney for this excellent RR.

Title: Yeshua Commissioned Us to Spread the Gospel;

Must He Do Our Work for Us? And, Why Now?

Supernatural communications are promised for the last days (Joel 2:28): [The LORD said] “And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.”

Yeshua has an assignment for every Believer, an assignment called “the Great Commission” (Matthew 28:19-20): [Yeshua said] “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

What if Believers are “too busy” to obey Yeshua? Or, do not care about unsaved people? Or, are too lazy to work for Yeshua’s Kingdom?

Well, these very things are happening now. Mission work– making disciples throughout the nations and spreading the Gospel* to people who do not know Yeshua– is lagging behind the world’s population growth.

* “Gospel” translates the New Testament Greek euaggelion, pronounced euangelion, which ultimately translates to “good news.”The Gospel is the Good News that the grace of God is manifest in and promised through Yeshua.

God wishes acceptance of His saving grace for all of His children (2 Peter 3:9): The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

Since most of the body of Believers do not follow Yeshua’s assignment and spread the Gospel to a lost and dark world, does God slink to a corner of Heaven and accept defeat of His plan? No! He will find other ways to accomplish His purpose.

I will not write much today. Instead, I encourage you to read some fascinating, encouraging Internet articles. There is a widely reported phenomenon occurring, with Yeshua appearing to Muslims and converting them to belief in Him. Missionaries are not involved. Following are three popular search engines (choose your favorite). Each search engine contains a few million links to articles about Yeshua appearing to Muslims and converting them to Believers in Him.

God’s plan will never be defeated by man’s laziness. If man will not carry out Yeshua’s Great Commission, Yeshua is fully capable of doing the task for us– and He apparently is doing so now.

By converting Muslims and others around the world through supernatural means (dreams and visions), remnants of Believers are being placed in many nations. Recall an earlier RR in which we discussed God’s use of remnants– small numbers– rather than large masses of people.

If Yeshua is positioning His witnesses throughout the world for multi-national conversions, can His coming be far off? As the Apostle John wrote (Revelation 22:20b): … even so, come, Lord [Yeshua].
